Rational design
of focused libraries
We start by leveraging our deep sequencing antibody database of > 500 individuals and quickly design focused libraries of your antibody. Point mutations are introduced in all 6 CDRs. The final library will have > 109 clones.
Rapid library
screening
Our rapid screening methods, utilizing magnetic-activated cell sorting (MACS) and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), allow us to probe and whittle down to the top desirable clones within weeks to months. The beauty of our proprietary yeast display platform and the precise control with FACS allows us to improve affinity on average of 10- to 100-fold.
Using a type of screening as illustrated below, we have achieved sub nM to single digit nM affinity mAbs for more than 200 antigens to date.
